No. At least not usually. There is usually a clause in the contract that will state the "Company" or "Hospital" will do everything it can to complete the contract but the "traveler" should understand the "business" situations my prevent that. On the other hand if the "traveler" should not complete their bargin they shoud be prepaired to pay for any cost incured by the Company or Hospital due to that unexpected departure.
One day people will do the right thing for the right reason. Nothing is ever free. Someone is paying for it even if you are not. Your time to pay will come.

Hello, I am a contracted agency nurse and I signed a 16 week contract that ends in the middle of August. I have been working for the the hospital and love it! However, the only other hospital in this particular hospital system closed and now they have canceled ALL agency. Do they legally have to pay me all the hours my contracted was for?
