Contract/agency/per diem in Houston, TX

I have been a nurse for almost 5 years, and I have 3 years if cvicu and surgical icu experience. I also have med-surg, stepdown, pacu, and ortho experience. My father will be moving to Texas this summer for a lung transplant, and I will be moving with him. I'm looking for a job that gives me a lot of scheduling flexibility, is during the day, and pays well. Any suggestions? I love ICU, and I am not opposed to it, however, after looking after my dad at home, it's extremely stressful working in critical care, particularly because I never get a chance to NOT take care of people. I am totally unfamiliar from Texas (Im from Tennessee) and I would like suggestions from people who are familiar with the city and environment.
