Hi guys! I applied to the ADN program at CCC for fall 2021. I wanted to start a thread for this school. Has anyone heard any updates? I saw that they have postponed the lottery process due to Covid.

We have take the test again in June for entrance. However the letter stated there only take the first attempt. Does it count if it was last year ?
When they say they will only accept the 1st attempt, what they are referring to is the first passing score. However, as I mentioned earlier that your free to take the test elsewhere and submit that score to the school. However, if you wait for DeAnza to offer you the TEAS test (given you get accepted)and you don't pass, then you will have to go through the remediation process that will take a yr. So it's your call on how you want to proceed forward. SJSU only charges $50.

In addition, you have to take a separate dosage calculation and Pharm class before applying to their program.
I was told by my counselor at CCC that there is no TEAS test for the LVN-RN. I asked the nursing department and they confirm this is correct, no TEAS. Drug dosage calculation and pharmacology are also a requirement for both ADN and LVN-RN program. ( this is the only program that requires those two) .......
Hey everyone who is a nursing student at ccc?
I was wondering if anyone couple help me by answering a couple of questions.
I will have a BS by the time I apply for the RN ADN program and I just want to get the prerequisites right.
I need dosage calculations and pharmacology done before applying? Along with psych 128? And of course all of the science courses anatomy, physiology and Microbiology.
thanks

Just take the test at SJSU it's only $50, however, if you take the test at DeAnza (which they will pay for it if you're excepted), and don't pass it, you will have to wait for a year and submit some type of remediation.
