Continuing education credit in Pennsylvania

Published

Hello,

I am a new member in this forum. I am an RN in Pittsburgh, PA. Could some in this forum please guide me the list of courses accredited by the Penssylvania board of nursing? I know they need 30 hours of CE.

I see a list of free CEs and paid CEs when I google. But I am very confused as to which one to choose.

Please provide me the list of sites (free and paid) accredited by PA board of nursing. Thank you very much for your help.

Also, pls let me know how many credits would be given for ACLS and BLS. Thank.

Glory.

Have you checked the BoN website? Not all states offer automatic credit for ACLS. Many do not award CEU credit for BLS

Specializes in long-term-care, LTAC, PCU.

I use nurse.com. I paid $44.99 for unlimited CEUs for a year. You pick the state an what area you want the credits in an you get a nice list to choose from. The nice thing about nurse.com is that they keep track of your credits and you can print the certificate at any time or more than once if you lose one. That way if I get audited I can just log in and print them instead of worrying about keeping my certificates somewhere I don't lose them.
