I would like to get feedback on these hospitals from those nurses who have worked at this hospital. I think the L&D department has now tied up with Womans Hospital of Texas in the Med center and is now called Womans Hospital of Texas Conroe.
Is this a good place to work for a fresh graduate nurse ? Are there learning opportunities for learning skills etc. I am more interested in working conditions and learning opportunity than pay (upto a couple of $/hr) as it is the beginning of my career. Any department or unit preferences ? Has anyone been through their Nursing Internship program - any feedback ? Has anyone done their clinical here - any observations ?
Would truly appreciate any honest feedback.
Thanks

I know this isn't much help but about the only thing I know of this hospital is that they like to keep their sick kids. If we get a transfer from them, we know it must be really bad...

I have done clinicals in L&D at Conroe and it seems that the nurses there are happy and really like their jobs. They worked well together and were helpful and kind to me as a student.
Hope that helps a little.

Hey M, when do you need to get back with them? I received an email today from the nurse recruiter at The Woman's hospital in the medical center about setting up an interview. Have you been in contact with them?
Any other experiences of this hospital. Maybe not as an employee but as a patient or family member ? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
