Hello. I am looking to apply to the CT State Community College - Capital Nursing program for the 2025-2026 semester! I have completed the required pre-req's for admission, and completing additional core but not required courses (Ex. A&P II) when the Fall semester opens next week. I'm likely going to apply to more than one selective admissions program to be sure I follow the destiny meant for me.
I'm wondering what everyone's stats are as we all are getting ready to apply to the selective admissions program. Mine are...
A&PI : A
TEAS: 79.3%
Nursing GPA: 3.7
Happy studying, and selective admissions application time fellow students!! I hope this thread proves to be as productive as others have in years past 🙂

Thank you! Just no too sure with how competitive the program already is. Only 32 accepted and I doubt 3-4 people will drop or fail out. Hoping for the best.Â
So heartbroken, have worked on healthcare for so long and it's truly unfair to just have an algorithm for admissions versus looking at experience and education, being put on the waitlist at 44 for nvcc truly disappoints, hopefully I get taken by surprise and some good can come to my worldÂ
About being disappointed, I only mention because I didn't know about radiation therapy when I originally started college for nursing, some of the programs require an interview too. Those programs are probably where your healthcare background shine. I have massage therapy, phlebotomy, and pharmacy technician background. But nobody would have known that outside of the interview. If nursing is your passion, then yeah definitely stick with it! But if healthcare is your passion, I would say look into some of the other programs. Radiation therapy, interview is 40%.
