Connecticut State Community College - Selective 2025/2026 Admissions

Published

Hello. I am looking to apply to the CT State Community College - Capital Nursing program for the 2025-2026 semester! I have completed the required pre-req's for admission, and completing additional core but not required courses (Ex. A&P II) when the Fall semester opens next week. I'm likely going to apply to more than one selective admissions program to be sure I follow the destiny meant for me.

I'm wondering what everyone's stats are as we all are getting ready to apply to the selective admissions program. Mine are...

A&PI : A

TEAS: 79.3%

Nursing GPA: 3.7

Happy studying, and selective admissions application time fellow students!! I hope this thread proves to be as productive as others have in years past 🙂

Mine doesn't have the GPA just received, what's your stats? I'm curious?

I think my GPA is 3.34

AP1 B-

63.3 TEAS

The GPA only goes by the Nursing GPA so basically if you have classes in there that are not part of the nursing program it's not counted toward the GPA. My Nursing GPA is around, 3.7-3.8 I believe. I applied to Capital 🙂

The radiography program definitely has gained more applications in the last few years. It's a cool program, but you graduate as a x-ray tech with 5 semesters of work. If you want CT or MRI cert, you have to go for another year and that's another selective admission process on top of it. Radiography is cool, but my heart is def in nursing like yours. The nursing handbook says 60% of applications are accepted on the basis of their grades and TEAS. But the other 40% are like a lottery pick, so you def still have a chance of being accepted! A&P is tough. I'm glad I got it out of the way when I did. Stay positive!

Hi guys! My account just switched to completed and uploaded all of the needed things.

Mine hasn't yet, but I did apply towards the end of the application period so they may be going in order? I applied at Gateway.

Nothing's updated for me either and I also applied towards the end of the deadline. In previous application cycles it looks like some people didn't see 'received' until as far as April so I guess this isn't unusual

I just saw that all my items have now been marked as received! I applied to Gateway.
