Confused, NCLEX for the 2nd time

Published

Hi beautifuls, I have a question; all of a sudden Im so confused on how to study for nclex, this will be my second time taking it and I sure would like to pass this time. When I received my letter, it stated that I was near passing on all subjects; I haven't scheduled my test yet because of money but should I be doing more content, or just continue with questions and rationales. Sometimes I feel so motivated, other times I feel a little down. What would you guys do?

My studying tools are: saunders, nclex 3500, kaplan and PDA

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I value this site so much, thanks.

I understand how you feel because I too had to take NCLEX twice. I studied content and did questions. In the morning I would study content using Hurst and the evenings I would study test strategies and answer questions using Kaplan. Fortunately I had done Hurst review before I failed and was put on their 45 day remediation plan for free and I was able to have access to Kaplan for free because a friend had passed NCLEX and let me use hers because it didn't expire until Sept

I took it yesterday. I would say do questions and content, I think it was equally important.

Same boat. I'm lost at what to do. Here's my story.

I took it twice and did not have luck on myside Im ready to get in the study mode again September will be a year since i graduated the program. Im also due in January so another reason I need to get on the ball. I am a HORRIBLE test taker... 1st go around i did Hurst Review didnt pay much attention like i should of i think? and the 2nd i did Kaplan with a girlfriend i was above the passing % she was below and SHE PASSED nclex and I failed! so now i am discourage and dont know where to start but i do know I CAN NOT GIVE UP! someone please help me!
