Hi everyone! I noticed that there wasn't a thread yet for CUI's Fall 2021 ABSN program and wanted to start one! Is there anyone else applying?

Can anyone please share their experience on how the interview went? I received an interview invitation but did not attend because I can no longer attend a program in fall. It’d be great to know for the future application cycles. Good luck to everyone! ??

@vitaminsea33 Hi, I did the Saturday PM session and it’s a long process but definitely doable. As they have mentioned it above, be confident about your experience and how that translates into your career as a nurse, why they should pick you, why you chose their program, what characteristics you possess that are important in nursing, your weakness and strengths, as well as importance of nursing leadership. My cohort members were so amazing so definitely talking to them helped calm the nerves. Be yourself and show them why you are best fitted to the program. I hope that helps.

Has anyone else been accepted to another school and just waiting to hear back from Concordia now??

My decision for the other school is due by July 30th so I hope we hear back soon!!

@Accelerated nursing student Hi! I was accepted into a school outside of California but I'm waiting on Concordia too. I know they said August 4, but for some reason I'm anticipating some news by the end of next week.

Yeah my other school is also outside of CA, Regis in Denver! I was looking at other years and they usually start hearing back around a week and a half after interviews so crossing my fingers!!

Got into a school in virginia and currently waitlisted at usf. The anxiety is killing me ah best of luck to everyone.

@Accelerated nursing student Yeah I noticed it took a week and a half too LOL! So hopefully we'll hear something around July 28-29. 

@cutepeachess Which school did you get accepted into in Virginia, if you don't mind me asking? I got accepted into GWU in DC and Marymount in VA.
