Hey all, did anybody go to the info session today or is planning to apply to this cycle?
It seemed like a very quality program with plenty of resources, a quality simulation lab, and their NCLEX pass rate is awesome. I also really liked how intensive the clinical portion is; some other programs I looked at are barely half as many clinical hours.

Huh i thought i replied to this but i guess it didn't post! I am coming from orange county, I actually work in the same business park as the CUI park place campus so I won't be worried about where to go on the interview day. I ended up taking a new one, so it was a selfie but i downloaded an app that is a timer so it is not like you are holding the phone if that makes sense. Whatever you submitted I am sure is good. Only a few more days can't wait!
Hey guys!
I am getting super nervous about my interview this Friday and I started to do my research and found this site. I feel excited but also so nervous because I have no idea what to expect. My interview is 1:30-6:30 pm. That is such a long time for an interview so I am wondering what we will be doing for that long? How are you all feeling?

Hi,
I don't think my other post went through. I want to reassure you that it is okay to feel nervous. I am a walking anxiety, and I am legit excited, scared, nervous--all of the above.
Have you been to the nursing information session? I highly doubt that it will be your typical interview questions, but do prepare a solid answer for "Why Nursing?" and "Why CUI?" From what I have gathered, you will be interviewing with three other applicants, four total. It's safe to assume that you will also be evaluated based on group interactions.
I suggest come in professional attire, although the letter did not specify. Lastly, even if you aren't expecting typical interview questions, prepare for it anyway--especially scenario based questions.
Ultimately, "Show Don't Tell."
I hope that helps!

Yep, I'm just gonna do my best and hope for the best!
I'm more than likely going to do slacks, a blouse, and a blazer. Maybe flats since it is SO long haha
I'm sure the essay is to assess maybe some of the our= writing skills? I would have thought for sure it would be enough with the statement of intent but haha
