I just sent off my application for Accelerated Nursing program at Concordia College for the fall of 2013. I'm really excited and nervous. I saw the thread for the fall 2012 was quite active and a few would-be 2013 students had posted to that one so I thought I should start a new one.
Anyway, I would LOVE to hear from any posters on the 2012 thread about how their experience has been going,anyone who is finished with the program, and anyone who is applying like me!
@ seong69- well thank u for that information...that puts my mind at ease a bit...I'm not seeing them to the 27th...i hope theyre not leaving the worst for last...LOL
That's great youll be finding out soon. Just so you know, getting an interview may be half the battle. I saw a nursing counselor in person who says they eliminate people that don't meet their requirements and not everyone gets an interview.
The end of the month doesn't sound too bad! Just keep your time occupied and if you believe it, remember that everything that happens is meant to be! good luck. ill let you guys know how my interview goes.
@seong69 yes I did. It wasn't hard just reading comprehension, but I wasnt feeling well and I had a mental block. I had a great interview tho, so I'm hoping that plus my personal statement will be enough.
@TK2U - I was told that the letter would be sent within a month at that time when I did interview and writing sample. However, I read from last year thread that it did not take too long. Someone told you that by the end of this month?
Yes the professor I interviewed with said by the end of the month. But ***** the assistant to the dean said within a month. I can't wait. I really wanna get accepted. I live in FL and I'm excited about moving to NY. I'm praying for good news

Did you fly from FL to NY for the interview or was it a phone interview?
