Concorde VS Pacific College--HELP!!

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Published

I have done several weeks of Research and saw the top six schools in Orange County according to the NCLEX scores available on BVNPT. I've narrowed it down to Concorde(31K) and Pacific (26K) and wanted to get some feedback. Concorde's part-time starts 3/10/09 and Pacific part-time starts 4/13/09. I would also add that I will be bridgeing from LVN to RN. Please give your input, as I'm trying to pick a school by next week. I would appreciate it and find this community very helpful with knowledge:heartbeat!!!

Don't base your decision solely on nclex rates. That imho would be foolish. There are many other factors to take into account include student satisfaction, clinical placement and atudent attrition.

Find out where the clinicals are for each school. They should be able to provide you a list. Try talking to some students from both schools. See what is included in the price...scrubs,books,NCLEX test, supplies.... If you do your research you will be confident you made the right choice. Also, price is a factor!! If I were you I would lean toward the cheaper tuition. If you like the school, and it checks out then save the money. Cost is no sign that a school provides a better education than the other. I will be going to Glendale Career College in Glendale Ca. The cost is 26thousand. That includes everything. The NCLEX scores could be better, however knowing that they are not the highest, I will study that much harder.

Hi,

I would pick Pacific College. I have known many people that went there and loved it, including me.

Good Luck!
