Going to Stanbridge College for LVN
I wanted to add another point here. You need to find out how many people took the State Board VS how many passed. Any college could have a 100% pass rate if they are new and haven't had many people take the test!!!! Pacific College students have been taking the test for years.:twocents:

Going to Stanbridge College for LVN
I think Stanbridge is now at least $30,000? Pacific is $26,900. I read on the previous post that Stanbridge gives a lot of "free" things with enrollment. Add it up...a cheap laptop and a few books. That doesn't do the same thing for me as a college that has a longgggg history (1993) and a good reputation with the State Board that Pacific has. They have had many people graduate and do well and pass the first time! Stability is soooo important. Stanbridge may look good, but it just doesn't have the long term record. I'm a Pacific advocate. It has been good for my career....... as well as many people that I have known from there.

Anyone a student at Pacific College in Costa Mesa?
Thank you for getting the word out there. I am personally very proud of that college and feel my training has been excellent. I hope all potential students really take the time to look at all aspects of potential schools...The decision is ultimately theirs, but hopefully they will visit the college, ask direct questions and do their own research before they decide.

I need advice...
Hi, Thirty years old is not that old. You can start again! Since many things may have changed over the years, maybe you should go back to nursing school and start from the beginning. If you truly feel this is for you, definitely don't give up on your dream...

Really concerned NEED HELP
HELLO THERE, I JUST WANTED TO ADD TO THE PREVIOUS POSTS. I ATTENDED PACIFIC COLLEGE AND KNOW THAT YOU WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE THERE. THEY HAVE SOME GREAT TEACHERS......MANY OF THEM HAVE BEEN WITH THE COLLEGE FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS. THEY HAVE REALLY GOOD TUTORING AND VERY HELPFUL STAFF. SINCE IT IS A SMALL COLLEGE, YOU RECEIVE A LOT MORE ATTENTION!!!! I PERSONALLY THINK YOU WILL LOVE YOUR EXPERIENCE!:up:

Anyone a student at Pacific College in Costa Mesa?
Good way to put it Rudder. We all have our own opinions. My experience with Pacific College was great. The people that I knew who transferred to Pacific from other colleges (two) did so because they were not satisfied with the training they received from the other schools. Pacific college is not an easy college, but it is effective. My opinion stays the same. I would definitely refer anyone that wants a really good education to that school.
