Is anyone out there a "concierge nurse" for a private practice? Forgive my ignorance, but can you tell me what it is you do? There is an opening through a hospital near me for a concierge nurse and, when I talked to the HR recruiter, she said they like to warn people that a nurse coming from the inpatient setting might find this job "boring"....
What are your duties and responsibilities, and what are the patients like? Is this just catering to wealthy people who can afford concierge medicine? (again, excuse my ignorance)
Thanks for any insight!

Sorry, only correlation I can come up with is what I remember from a fun 'medical' TV show from a few years ago called Royal Pains. It was about medical professionals who offer their services to the very wealthy, who can afford house visits/testing/procedures for anything they could possibly want. Paid to be on call always and cater to those with more money and entitlement issues than medical issues. Any chance this job is to work with that kind of group?
