Hello all,
Question....
I understand how concept mapping is used to develop Care Plans but can it also be used to study nursing theory? If so how? Do you put the chapter header in the center and then the key points radiating from there?
I am very much a visual learner and I think concept mapping would be great for me to use.
Thank you in advance for your help.

If you can find it, there is software called "Inspiration" that can be used to make very easy concept maps. (Check the web). Then, a click on the button, and it generates an outline based on the concept map. Costs about $50. It can also be used to make a lovely care plan concept map too.
If you just want to make a flow chart for studying, you can but a cheap flow chart maker program for about $10 at places like Office Max. It's a little harder to use and doesn't generate an outline, tho.
