It depends on why you are on it.  I would not try to do it on your own but get a lawyer who practices licensure disciplinary defense & administrative law in your state.

Was told that I had to request coming off and mail a copy of of active license. And that most likely it won’t be a problem. As the license was reinstated

I’m not on the OIG list, never was.  I’m interested in doing some travel assignments so that’s why I said I can’t get a job.  I believe that the hospitals will not take nurses who’ve been in recovery even though I finished the probationary period 15 years ago.  But I guess that’s part of the punishment.  I’m working, I just wanted to travel for a short spell.  Thanks for being kind to show me how to get off the list though.

You should never be punished for having a medical problem.  See if you can find a nurse attorney in your state to advocate for you.
