hey y'all........... :lvan:

ok, i'm taking the rn boards this tuesday, july 22nd. after reviewing all of kaplan website, i completed all 100% of the qbank and did all 7 trainers.

overall score: 62%

trainer 1 (51%)

trainer 2 (61%)

trainer 3 (60%)

trainer 4 (67%)

trainer 5 (60%)

trainer 6 (61%)

trainer 7 (62%)

(good enough scores to make it?)....i've seriously have been studying really hard for this! i have given 100% of me to nclex land. good enough to pass and get off of nclex land?

i reviewed all the video content & questions online. i practically finished everything of kaplan.

my question now is.....what do i do now? may sound silly but just wanted to check to see if anyone has been in my position. should i continue review the qbank questions i already did? redo my trainers?

or should i review other nclex review questions from other companies? some say i shouldn't because it may just confuse me.

i feel like i'm ready.....i think? i feel positive, which is good....i want to keep a positive attitude about this of course.

i wanted to reschedule sooner to take the boards but it's all booked.

so anyone who taken the kaplan.......... what do you think??

thanks everyone! appreciate your reply!

me too we are on the same sailing boat i did that too , doing nclex on thursday this week . my friend told me now go for it thats enough i feel ready but anxious too

wish you luck:yeah:

That kaplan is going to kill me! I did very well in school, and have failed all the Kaplan exams except for 2. I do not understand why it is so hard. I answer the questions feeling confident, but end up failing it. Has anyone else had this problem with the Kaplan?

What I did was read each section before I did the video review & question videos. Sometimes if you have noticed that some info is not mentioned in the book. So what i've been doing is writing any info missing next to that section of my reading.

Also instead of doing all 50 Qbank questions, I would do 15 to 20 questions based ONLY on the subject that I read and reviewed.

I go over the RATIONALES and which ever I got WRONG I went back to that section and review it over. And if I still didn't understand it, I would go to my Med-surg book and read it over.

Also I would write KEY NOTES from the rationale and write it in my Kaplan book.

And I have come over and over to a similiar question and from knowing the rationale I FINALLY got the concept.

So it just depends how you have been studying to.

What I did what has helped me TREMENDOUSLY is making FLASH CARDS.

I must of made a lot of flash cards and before I go to bed I would review them and when I woke up and eat breakfast I would review them again before I moved on to the next seciton of the Kaplan Book.

Ok, well I hope these study tips can help you or anyone out there.

But does anyone out there ready to take the Boards this Tuesday, July 22nd?

Done with the Whole entire Kaplan course and not knowing what to do next?
