Companies with Contracts in North Carolina

Hi all,

Am wondering if anyone knows which travel agencies have contracts in North Carolina?

I'm a labor and delivery nurse who is seeking a travel nurse contract in North Carolina. I am dating someone in Fayetteville, but the job does not have to be near there. Just being in the same state as him would be nice considering he is in the military.

I have worked with Cross Country before and I know they sometimes have contracts there, but I am trying to explore all my options, through google search, networking with travelers I know, and now this forum.

Thanks!

I am in the same boat as you, but replace the boyfriend with a child LOL!

My child lives in NC and I'm looking to travel in January so I can see him graduate from high school. So far, the only company I've been dealing with is Cirrus because they are based in NC and usually have contracts at Duke in Durham.

I live in NC and have been watching for contracts for a couple of years now. I'm also L&D. Cirrus had some in Matthews for an Epic conversion, but those are now full. New Hanover in Wilmington just filled five (they went fast). Fayetteville frequently has mother/baby and sometimes L&D. Sometimes there are contracts in Charlotte. Overall, NC is a hard place to find an L&D contract, and the same goes for SC. Cirrus is your best bet. Trinity is based in SC, they are another good option, and I've been happy with them.

Besides the good agencies already mentioned, the mega agencies Cross Country and American Mobile will be able to find L&D assignments in NC. NursesRX, owned by American Mobile is actually based in NC but it makes no difference which one of their agencies you go with. Millenia is another good midsized agency based in SC that seems to do a good job reaching out to hospitals in their region.

travelingdorsey, sending you a PM.
