Commuting 1 1/2 to work???-- new grad

Hi I am a new graduate. I live in harrisburg , pa and I am applying to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. It is about an hour and half drive.

The job market in my area for ADN RNs is awful and Geisinger would be an amazing place to start!

Is this too far to commute?? I really don't want to move though. I live with my parents and currently have no money to find my own place.

I think you can do it, initially. I wouldn't do it long term. Maybe work for a few months and either try to find a job elsewhere or move to that area. Definately make sure you car can handle this commute.

Thank you!! yes I have a new car so it is reliable! I'm hoping to commute for a couple months and if I can not handle it then I will move closer.
