community/public health nursing class

Published

Hi all! I didnt see a thread on this topic so I figured I'd post something. I am in my 4th semester of nursing school and Community health is one of the classes. I heard awful things about this class and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to pass.

The book we are using is Public Health Science and Nursing Practice by Christine L Savage. There is a Davis Plus access code as well.Any help would be greatly appreciated

Public Health class was fairly time consuming, but I didn't find it difficult at all. You apply the nursing process at the community/population/systems levels instead of to individuals. I heavily utilized the public health nursing intervention wheel for ideas as well

I would like to lean of any RN school where I can go to to get my ASN,RN where the school is so easy for the students to learn what is needed to pass the state board. I have been an LPN for 25 years and have around 100 credits toward my RN. I would really like to finish and get my RN, So any of you'll out that knows of such a school Please email me @ [email protected] and let me know. I want to thank you in advance. Wayne Shrock, LPN
