For community nursing clinical, we have to do a community assessment. Part of our assignment is to describe stressors that would be likely in our community. These stressors have to address the five Neuman variables. Does anyone have any examples?

Well stressors in the community...pollution, noise esp barking dogs, unfriendly neighbours, loud parties...is that what you mean?

Look in your text book. Mine says that stressors are tension-producing stimuli that have the potential of causing disequilibrium in the system. They may originate outside or inside the community.

Thanks to both of you. I got most of the stressors now, but I am still stuck on what would be considered a developmental stressor. Any ideas on that?
