Hi everyone!
I have a question. Is there a possible way to apply to Hunter college nursing from a community college without being an RN? I understand I have to be a student first there and then get into the program. Like do I get an associates in liberal arts and a bunch of nursing pre reqs?
I'm also applying to NYU nursing and Ive only done one semester of from BMCC so far and I have to submit my SAT scores to NYU and they aren't good......
Basically does anyone know how much do SAT scores heavily weigh in your admission.
I have a 3.4 GPA from college and a 3.8 from HS. I have a lot of volunteer experience.
Thank you

Did you graduate with a degree in anything? If so, you can do an accelerated BSN at schools that offer one, Hunter and NYU do. Also, before you can apply to nursing program at Hunter, you have to be admitted as a student. Once you are accepted, you then apply to the nursing program directly. As far as NYU goes, I think you can apply to its nursing program directly. Hunter nursing program is highly competitive, so unless you have stellar credentials, try some place else.
