Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Spring 2024

Hi everyone,

I posted a previous topic titled CCBC Fall 2024, but I meant Spring!

Did anyone apply for the Spring 2024 semester at CCBC? It's already October, so I'm expecting decision emails to be sent out soon!

Also, did anyone else not know about the supplemental SHP application under Simon? I called and asked if it would affect my application, but they said no. Even though it says under the supplemental SHP application that "Your program application cannot be processed if you do not complete this step", so I'm freaking out!

I know someone who got in a few semesters ago with a 63 overall TEAS score! And I don't think their GPA was as good as yours.

Okay, so I know I'm probably just going insane, but if you browse the Spring 2024 semester for nursing courses at Catonsville campus, many of the morning classes are filled with maybe a few seats still remaining. I'm assuming this means they've already made decisions because if I'm not wrong, from previous threads on here, CCBC selects your courses according to your program choice (Day/Evening/Hybrid).

Hi Amber welcome! I think there maybe a little more wiggle room in the last two years. I have a 3.0. 70 proficiency score overall and an 85% on the TEAS. I unfortunately lost me 3.7 GPA due to a C in A&P II. My advisor assured me I should be fine. Still nervous though.

@ivycee you're definitely not alone! I saw this thread a few days ago and finally made an account to chime in LOL but I've been checking these allnurses threads for months "researching" when other semesters found out. Good luck to you and everyone!

That all sounds good even with the C! I got an 81% on the TEAS and have a 3.3 GPA. I got As and B's in my sciences besides a C in bio 110. I'm still so nervous too, I know there's no guarantees. But hopefully we'll all be sharing good news in the thread soon!

Hmm I'm not able to see any classes for Spring 2024! It says schedule open to view October 16th and registration opens the 23rd. Where were you able to see them?

False alarm everyone, I was looking at the 2023 catalog. Definitely losing my marbles ?

No worries. I lost mine a few weeks back. This wait is exhausting. But I'm just going to put it in the universe and believe that we all will get in, graduate and be fine. We all have to believe it.

Hi Everyone! I applied for the Essex 2024 program. My stats are overall 3.2 GPA and 80 on the TEAS. I'm freaking out like everyone else waiting for an acceptance. If anyone gets an email today please keep me posted! I noticed that my SHP application says "decision made, email to follow". Good luck everyone
