I am interested in commissioning into the AF as an RN (hoping for the November 2017 board). I have written a previous post to ask questions about the process however I am wondering is it normal to have such a difficult time communicating with the recruiter? I am in the Carolina's and I have a hard time getting information from the recruiter I have. Often times when communicating (most successfully through text) the conversation just stops in the middle of us conversing, like the recruiter fell off the face of the earth. Emails often are never returned. I have given the recruiter EVERYTHING asked of me. I know there is a lot of time between now and October, which is when he said things need to be turned in, however I am nervous that things won't get pushed through. Should I be nervous? Is this usually how things are?
Thanks for any info!

That's normal. I would just re-contact them every 3-4 days as long as you haven't heard back. I would try multiple means of communication (phone and email). Also, you can call that recruiting office's main line and there is a 'supervision' option if questions haven't been answered for several weeks.

Hey I have had the same problem and I actually missed the Nov boards because things were not turned in soon enough by him. I am also in the Carolina's so I pretty much gave up hope until I contacted him again after he told me back in Nov that I would have my physical and interview completed by Dec 1 and I still haven't been scheduled. So frustrating!! Have you went to boards yet and have you heard anything yet?? You can PM me if needed.
