Comfortable size 5 to 5 1/2 nursing shoes

hello everyone. I would just like to ask if any of you know where i can buy (in-store or online) nursing shoes that are of a smaller size than 6?? As i browsed the net, they usually have shoes with the smallest size being size 6.huhuhu... do you know a good place or brand that I can find my size of comfortable shoes? thank you for you help!!:heartbeat:D

I got my Dansko's that are comparable to a US size 5 or 5 1/2..not sure which at my local nursing scrub supply store.

I think the Euro size is 35..but don't quote me on that. Nurse Mates also runs small. I normally wear a 5-5 1/2 but needed a 6 in one of their clog type shoe.

Best thing to do is to go into a store wearing the socks you think you will wear on a daily basis (or on the days you are working) and try on the shoes. I know that with one type of sock i wear one size and with another I might need a 1/2 size bigger.

I made a huge mistake of buying an expensive pair of shoes wearing winter type socks, fit like a glove..very comfy. But then when I switched to the socks I normally wear for work, the shoes were too big, the heel slid back and forth all night and I had a huge blister that broke open leaving a nasty open sore on my heel. Made another mistake of wearing very thin socks and buying a pair. when i wore my normal sock, it was too thick and the shoe was too tight. Live and learn.
