Published

Anyone know of this school is accredited by all agencies it needs to be? I know that FNP program is newish.... so wanted to check....

Yay..... I got accepted too!!!!

Any idea on how to talk to current students? I'm questioning myself now and wondering if they accept everyone - their facebook page had a picture of their first graduating class and it was like 6 people. Happy but nervous :/.

@erinmichele we are going to think positive.... lol. Lets hope that maybe we are just 3 of the top applicants ;). From my understanding there class sizes has increased to now accepting about 40-45 people and receiving 100+ applications. Honestly, even if they did only receive enough applications to accept everyone I wouldn't care. The program is accredited, affordable, and in the end allows for us to sit for our boards. Congratulations ladies (I hope I'm right, if not sorry) we are one very small step closer to accomplishing our goal!!!!

If you guys want to talk to current students I have created a Facebook page titled Columbus state university FNP 2017. I started in January and love the program. I work full time with no issues at all. I am taking pharmacology and underpinnings and on this site I have created and posted quizlets for our pharmacology class. That way you can see what our studies and exams and quizzes entail. I have yet to fail anything and have made wonderful grades while working full time. Proud to be a CSU student. Feel free to join the Facebook group and get a head start on things!!!

P.s. There are 25 students in my January early start class. This enables us to knock out six classes before the fall and graduate early :)))))

Just them and frontier. I feel like I have no chance at frontier but with their reputation I had to at least apply. I am just applying to these 2 because I really don't want to take the GRE. I figure if I don't get in then it isn't meant to be. :)

You?

Does Columbus not require the GRE?

They used to require the GRE but now they do not.

I am planning to apply for Spring 2018 and I started to worry about GRE, oh thank you for your reply!!

Hello Nurses... I am considering the NP program at Columbus State University but I live in Utah and don't know if it's accredited in the state for practice. Anyone know? Also, I am a single dad with two small children. Those of you in the program, what's the work load like? Two year track or Three year track? I am looking to start in Spring 2018.

I applied to the spring 2018 class. my status still reads sent for review. Any idea how long they take to give you an answer?

Is anyone doing the part-time program at CSU for FNP? I am married and have two children and want to continue working. I am curious as to how doable the PT program is while maintaining 40 hours. Thanks.
