Columbus state university FNP?

Published

Anyone know of this school is accredited by all agencies it needs to be? I know that FNP program is newish.... so wanted to check....

I haven't heard anything yet either. I have been so anxious, checking the website frequently as well. Since they meeting today I wonder if we'll know something by tomorrow.

Have you contacted them? Does your status say it was sent to the department for review?

How great if it was today?! I doubt it lol but here's to hoping!! Someone mentioned 2-3 weeks and if they're meeting today then there is a good chance we will know by the end of next week but ugh I can't stand the wait!!

Yes, mine says sent to department for review on February 21st. No, I haven't contacted them concerning when we'll know. Was the denial an email or an actual letter? I applied to 3 schools. My biggest fear is not getting into any of them :nailbiting:.

Mine was referred on 2/21 as well. The denial was sent as email with a letter attachment. Very disappointing. We just need one to say yes you're in!

Well I'm praying we all get a nice acceptance letter tomorrow!!!

I got an email back from them saying emails and letters will go out in a few days

Oh no, now I have to wait the entire weekend to find out.... Lol. Thanks for letting us know.

Good Luck to all of you! I will graduate in May 2017 from Columbus State.

Can you give us some advice or tips on success? Did you work throughout the program full time?

I have worked full time through the whole program. I strongly suggest making sure you begin to line up preceptors now as this seems to be the most difficult thing for most students especially peds and GYN. Other than that just make sure you keep up with the readings. HTH
