Hey! I know the deadline passed 1 week ago but I wanted to start this thread for those who applied and want to discuss.

I agree, I doubt they had more applicants this year. They have been receiving a lot of hate because they supported the war in Palestine.

In the past I have heard the delay was financial aid information.
 

I know someone on an admission committee for a graduate school (not nursing) and they said it takes several meetings and final reviews etc before it's released.

Totally forgot about that too, and overall the number of American students applying to schools is lower than it's ever been so I'm not sure why they're taking longer, especially in New York where housing is hard and that's a big move! Feel like they should give their students more time to accommodate for that.

Shoutout to all the folks who've been emailing with admissions and reporting back! I've been checking this thread frequently this month and decided to make an account just to join the chorus of folks who are anxiously awaiting a decision! Hopeful that we hear back soon! (Fingers crossed today! 🙂)

I'm living in Philly area currently and we are getting a bad snow storm today and most schools are closed tomorrow. I pray Columbia isn't closed LOL or it doesn't delay any possibilities of getting a decision back soon🥲😂😂  I had to dig myself out of a bunch of snow after my shift at the nursing home , not what I wanted to do after being tired from work 🤣🤣

awe I hope you rest well. Im from NY born and raised. Im also at work right now as a CNA and its snowing! Its not too bad and even if it were, we still wouldnt close things. This city never sleeps LOL!

Good to know!! LOL I was born and raised in Bergen county NJ right over the GWB!! Hoping to come back to NJ soon 🥲🥹

Hey, just want to make sure...does everyone's application say  "your application is now complete " mine didn't say that until today just wondering if that's a sign we're nearing the end of this long wait.
 

Please note this was because they wanted things from me so if you submitted everything beforehand disregard this message 

Also last year someone called that day decisions were being released and they were told decision would come out so I'm thinking whenever the day actually comes we'll hear in the afternoon

I still have one outstanding prereq I'm taking with their OPEN program which they know about so I still have outstanding items ! And yes usually decisions come out around 1/2pm
