Has anyone applied to Columbia University's CRNA program for 2018? Anyone have an interview yet?
I interviewed as well & it was very different than what I was expecting/had read online. They asked a lot of clinical questions that were pretty basic but under pressure seemed difficult to answer. I was in Dr. Greco's room & felt similar in that I don't think it went as well as hoped. I hope we find out soon. What time were you there Friday?
I was there on Thursday. I had to be there at 7am. It was different than I read online too. I think they tried to change it up. In the open house a few months ago, Dr. Greico mentined he would be changing it up. The clinical questions were basic but when you are put on the spot they seem difficult. I belive I answered them correctly but not sure. Dr. Grieco moved the interview along so there was no time to really quesiton yourself. I tried my hardest. I really want to go there but if Idont get in I'll try again next year. The program has a great reputation and the students we met said Dr. Greico is very known and involved in the anesthesia community which helps the program out. Fingers crossed.Hope we all get in!
Hi do you guys mind sharing your nursing school GPA, experience, and what you think made you stick out from the other applicants as far as getting an interview is concerned. I'm really interested in Columbia's CRNA program and would love you're feedback. Thanks and good luck to everyone.
