I got a rejection email today. For those who were invited to interview, did you retake  statistics prior to applying?

Yes, I retook it. Did you interview today?

Specializes in General ICU.

No I did not even get an interview.

Just an FYI for those who haven't interviewed yet, make sure to block out several hours! I thought it was going to be an hour max, but ours went from 12:45-5:45pm.

They did a powerpoint about the program for ~45 min, then we went into a breakout room with some current students to ask them questions. They took out people to do the interview one at a time.

It was great to meet/talk with current students, but I had no idea it would be that long!

How long was the interview part? Was it clinical or situational questions? Was it a big panel or just 2-3 ppl. I appreciate all your responses ?

The interviews seemed to range between 15-30 minutes. Three people on faculty interviewed us!

To everyone who hasn't interviewed yet, the only tough aspect of the interview was that it lasted so long. Both the faculty and the SRNAs made us feel very comfortable. They made it clear that we definitely didn't have to stay the whole time (unless you're the last one to have your faculty interview). It was overall a great experience and I truly hope to be accepted there.

Ohk great thanks!! I was just thinking if it's gonna be more clinical or situational questions type of interview

You’ll find out. I think not knowing all the specifics of the interview gives every applicant a fair chance at preparation

How did everyone's interview go? I'm guessing we're all anxious to get that call!
