I figure it is about time to start a thread for all of those who are applying to the 2018 Nursing program at Columbia Basin College so that we can have mental meltdowns together come May while we impatiently await the letter in the mail that will tell us our fates!...

Yes i feel the same way. It is stressful. I contacted the program coordinator and she said that the acceptance letters will arrive by the second week of may.

The website now says applicants will be notified MAY 30TH! Does anyone know about this?? Also, I heard through the grapevine there were 200 applicants this year. Not sure how accurate that is?

Oh my gosh! I was seriously expecting a letter any day now. :-/ where on the site did you see that?

Edit: nevermind I found it. I wonder why it takes so long!?

I might call tomorrow and see when the date is. According to the application they are supposed to be mailed May 11th.......

I emailed today, I actually did need clarification for some legal dates coming up, and was told they will be mailed next week! I feel nervous and barfy every time I think about holding that letter

Hey all! I applied as well with an index score of 26.375. The wait is killing me, I hope the letters go out soon!

The May 30th date has been on there since the original application time. I think that they just have that in place for a in case it takes longer and gives them a buffer and if it arrives earlier we are lucky. :-) Last year they were postmarked May 15th which I heard was later than usual. It came on the 18th of May Hoping for an earlier date this year.

Good luck to you all! I'm sure within the next week or so you'll be getting your letters! I'm not sure if they will do the same or not but on CBC nursing FB page they made a post with a picture of the letters the day that they were mailing them out. Last year it was May 15. So you could probably watch there too.
