Hi all, I'm moving to Quakertown soon and I'll hopefully be working in the Philly/ Allentown area. Does your hospital have color coded uniforms? For instance where I work now, RNs = royal blue, techs = ceil blue = radiology= gray, lab= green, etc......this is in GA by the way.

Many hospitals are going that way, though RNs are normally wearing either Navy Blue or white. Not all hospitals in Philly have implemented this though, and I know even less about the surrounding sub-/ex-urbs. For what it's worth, since no one is replying.
thanks astn

i know st lukes in allentown/bethlehem/quakertown does this somewhat but it varies from unit to unit.. its usually a combo of a color and white that RNs wear. (ie. bethlehem's med surg units are ciel blue and white (in any combination-- all ciel blue, ciel blue shirt with white pants, white shirt with ciel blue pants, or all white), allentowns med surg is bugundy and white, allentown ER is all black, peds is any color shirt (including prints) with white pants.
