Collin College LVN to RN bridge Summer 2022

Updated:   Published

I am making this thread in hopes of finding students that will be applying to the Collin College LVN to RN bridge program for Summer 2022. I am so nervous because I am still taking Microbiology but I was told to apply any way. I just wanted to create a space where we can be anxious together and wait the process out. I turned in my application on 03/30/2022 and I did not do well on the TEAS. I look forward to hearing from others!

Unfortunately I did not do well on the TEAS and I didn’t have time to retake it

They sent denial letters. My sister got one which sucks since we wanted to go together. She apparently didn’t get in because they had issues with her transcripts instead of informing her so it could be fixed she got the denial and can’t do anything now. I hope some of you guys got in so we can get this program done. For those that didn’t I’m sending good vibes and prayers you get accepted to another program or this one next year.

I also got a denial email yesterday. I haven’t called to get any reasoning. Bummer.

I received my denial letter also. I think I am not so bummed because I have already moved on to other options. I hope everyone enjoys their time in the program or whatever program you get into!

Congrats I too got in. See you on the 6th!!

When is the next start date? Do they offer part time evenings or just mornings? I have been a nurse for 10 yrs and trying so hard to work and go to school to complete pre requisites is there anyone else who feel like I do that if you have been a nurse for a certain period of time that they should be gladly allowing you in .

Hello,

I opted out of the program as I got into dccd. It's closer cos I live in fort worth. I wish everyone the best. Hopefully this opens up a slot for someone on the waiting list. Goodluck everyone!!

Hello, I’m wondering if anyone in this thread that was accepted into the LVN to RN program can give me some insight on the program, how many points they had when they applied etc.

I had 18 or 18.5 points

Thank you. I made a 72.7% on my ATI TEAS. So I’m a little worried but fingers crossed. Thank you.
