Hey everyone I haven't seen a forum for this one yet and decided to create one.

That's true. For the people who got accepted... do you mind sharing how many points you applied with?

I applied 22 points

Congratulations! Me too!

Congratulations! Did you email say this?

I think they are all conditional. We have to pass background checks and make sure we turn in all of our immunization information. I had 24.3 points.

Definitely choosing the ADN program over LVN.

Nice . I haven't received an email about immunizations yet from the LVN side yet.

What's your thought process behind that decision if you don't mind my asking?

Of course not! It basically just boils down to the fact that it would take longer and cost more to start out at LVN and then bridge over to ADN. I would have gladly and thankfully gone through the LVN program if I didn't get into the ADN program, but for my end goals, it just makes more sense to go straight to ADN.

I got in! 🥳 I applied with 23.47 points.

congrats everyone!!

Does anyone know how the background check goes and when the deadline for immunizations are most likely?

Congrats to all those who have been accepted!!

I got in also!  (For future cohorts, I applied with 25.27 points)

I've also been accepted to TWU, but I think I'm going with Collin because, from what I can tell anyway, it's a less intense program.  I've got a lot of responsibilities outside of school, so I think Collin will be a better fit.

Eeeek!  So exciting!

Raise you hand if you already have an Amazon wishlist full of "nursing school essentials" most of which you probably really don't need. 👋🏼

I won't buy anything until I get accepted and probably even after orientation. But "window shopping" is keeping me occupied. LOL

I would love the link! I got my acceptance email this morning. I've been reading this forum for a bit but been to nervous to post since I wanted to be accepted first LOL

Congrats to all that have been accepted.

Will anyone be staying off campus in an apartment or on campus in a dorm room?  I'm from the Austin area so will need to research more in this area.  Any information you can share would be great.  Thanks.
