Goodday everyone, I created this group because I want us to help each other on the application process for collin college ADN Spring 2025... we need to know the points we got and our chances... I wish we all get in
Please who is applying for Spring 2025 ADN at Collin College ?
Mara Lally said:I applied with 23.33 points
C -AP 1
A-AP 2
A- Microbiology
TEAS - 93.3
how about you? What points did you apply with?
also did you apply for the LVN program as well?
Hey I believe am applying with 23.47 points.
A&P 1 - A
A&P 2 - A
Micro - B
TEAS - 84.7
I only had few days to study for the TEAS so my score isn't high, plus can't retake it because there is a 2 week period. Also I haven't applied for the LVN program (tbh don't know what it is).

I thought about applying for lvn as well if I don't get accepted for ADN, but then I realized that I will have to spend more money if I do LVN and then bridge to RN after.
Oh I see.. that sounds expensive and stressful tbh.
Also I saw one of your posts about your friend getting accepted with all B's and 85 on the TEAS for fall 2024. So your friend's total points were 21.5?
Also are you applying for Spring 2025? If so what are you applying with?

Yes, I'm praying 23 is good enough for our cohort. I wish more people commented so we know where we stand.
I have a friend who started this past semester and she applied with 22 points and got in.

Generally, the Spring semester is less competitive than fall, and a lot of people got in with 23+ points this fall (according to the fall allnurses post). So I would say that you have a good chance of getting in.
By the way, how was the TEAS test? I'm applying next year after I finish my pre-reqs and I haven't taken the test yet, is it hard?

The TEAS is kinda look like a normal exam to me , it was hard tho. How do you know is less competitive?
I will just forget about June
and wait till July for the letters . I don't wanna remember so I won't start thinking

Oh yes the advisors said something about the Spring semester being less competitive because less people apply compared to fall.
Personally I studied for about 5 days for the TEAS which was a bad idea! I spent one day on each section and the last day was like a review. I would say focus on the english and science part. For the science section you don't have to go in depth, just the basics. My highest section was for reading, and it was very straightforward but make sure you read all the answer choices. The math wasn't that bad, but there were some conversion questions and basic HS math. I would recommend the MOMETRIX book for the TEAS, and watch YouTube videos.
Mara - I don't even know know what vaccines I have tbh, I'm gonna get that started soon!
