Oh yes the advisors said something about the Spring semester being less competitive because less people apply compared to fall.
Personally I studied for about 5 days for the TEAS which was a bad idea! I spent one day on each section and the last day was like a review. I would say focus on the english and science part. For the science section you don't have to go in depth, just the basics. My highest section was for reading, and it was very straightforward but make sure you read all the answer choices. The math wasn't that bad, but there were some conversion questions and basic HS math. I would recommend the MOMETRIX book for the TEAS, and watch YouTube videos.
