Collin College ADN - Spring 2025

Goodday everyone, I created this group because I want us to help each other on the application process for collin college ADN Spring 2025... we need to know the points we got and our chances... I wish we all get in 

Please who is applying for Spring 2025 ADN at Collin College ?

it had something to do with the registeration as the new nursing student were not able to register and they need that to know the spots available. I am so shakey but fingers crossed

From what I was told by the school there's over 2000 applicants for Spring. So I see why.  
 

The registration was for classes not for the program. Everyone was all ready accepted.  My cousin is in the fall cohort.  I didn't go to Collin's.

Also for the fall it was only over 1000.

I applied to UTA Dallas Baylor

I'm about the same , I got a C in ap 1 and then an A in micro. It's looking like I'm going to finish out A&P 2 with an A as well. I got a 90 on my TEAS. I need to look at the scoring sheet but I'm assuming my points are around the same as yours. I think 24 points is a pretty competitive amount of points and you have a good TEAS score too !! 
I just want this semester over so I can focus completely on applications

Did anyone else apply with 1 of their prerequisites listed on your transcript as "in progress" ? I took A&P 2 this Summer and when I submitted my transcripts it was listed as in progress but I'm not sure how I can upload my updated transcript now that the class is complete. I emailed nursing admissions and the reply was "You can still submit an updated transcript to your student account, but it will not be considered for the Spring 2025 entry.”  I'm confused because on the Collin website it said you could apply with 1 prereq still in progress but now the website says for future applications all 3 must be complete. Just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me! I know we should find out if we got in next week but now I'm concerned I won't even be considered.

yes it won't because the deadline is 1st June 2024. so after that any documents submitted is not considered for admission. they sent an email to all applicant about their decision been rounded last week Friday and this week is for the student affair decision

how many courses and point did you apply with?

Yes, Collin changed their scoring which will allow for maximum points, before you would only get points for A&P 1 and 2. Which you can have micro in progress. Now they give points for Micro which is what spike the change for the needing to have been completed all courses instead of 2. The old point system was Ap 1 & 2 and TEAS. Now it's all 3 and TEAS score. Which makes it a bit more competitive   Sorry.

They said if we don't hear back by august 2nd and today is 31st already over, I really don't understand what is going on
