I am currently enrolled in a community college trying to get into their nursing program, but unfortunately A&P I really screwed me up and the program did not allow any retakes. The first time i took it i withdrew, the second time i got a C-, i retook the class and got a A- the third time. My current GPA is a 3.4. I dont want to give up my dream of becoming a nurse but it seems like i dont have a choice anymore.
I will graduate after Spring'15 with a associates degrees in liberal arts and currently i am looking for schools with nursing programs to transfer to that will accept my situation but it seems like none of the colleges i looked at are willing to take students who got below a C and retook A&P I. I not sure what to do anymore. Seems like there's no hope of me becoming a nurse since i screwed up.
Please feel free to leave any advices and/or any colleges that will accept transfer student who retook A&P I! Thanks

Well, if I were you I would take a good look at websites of schools you would be interested in attending and lol at their policies in regards to retaking prereq classes. They will state if they accept retakes and how many times you can do so.
there's a school I'm my area that specifically states they only allow one prereq retakes for one science prereq. Make sure of the small details like that.

This. We can't give you names of places because we don't know where you are. A simple google search will give you the information you need. If for some reason you can't find this information on the nursing school's site, email their admissions office, or if they list an adviser's email, email them.
I recently attended an application workshop for a certain nursing program at a cc in my area and for them they considered and told us that a withdraw ( W ) of the course to be considered a repeat. So really you must look at what the program requires and do not allow.

Then there are the very expensive for profit schools that typically have a more forgiving attitude toward prerequisites as long as you can pay the price. There is that route if all else fails and you have the means.
I am located in New York so im hoping to go to school around the around like NY, NJ, CT

What was the time frame in which you took the class, how long between the first time you took the class and between the repeats? Some schools like mine you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can repeat a class more than once, including if you withdraw from the class. With the programs that you are interested check to see if they have anything like that set up. Have you talked to an advisor at your C.C., what advice do they have to offer for the program either there or at one of the other colleges?
first time i took it was fall '13 which was the Withdrawal and spring '14 C- and A- summer '14. The colleges that i checked out none of them accept repeated A&P I course. I have spoken with an advisor at my c.c and they were not much help they pretty much told me to look into private schools.
