Im wondering if anyone on here is currently attending CSI and is in their nursing program. Im a transfer student and im hoping to get into their nursing program this fall 2018.

Im not really sure if i have a good chance of getting in or not since i've heard it is very competitive. If someone knows here are my grades:

NLN exam grade :

Total score: 137 | 92 Percentile

Prerequisites :

English : A-

Phl 130 : A

Psych 100: B

Bio 150 : not really sure but i know the MIN i will get is a B

Can anyone let me know how im doing ? should i be concerned or maybe work more on my grades or maybe NLN?

can anyone answer *****

Congrats??. My grades look like yours and GPA too. NLN I’m taking next week.

so nervous about it.

Hello Kc,

I am currently attending CSI. I am currently taking bio 160 preparing for the NLN. I have heard all of the horror stories about the nursing program (Students having to drop out because of 2 failed exams and transferring to another school) and I’m just wondering how has it been for you. I also share similar grades in the pre-reqs & hoping to do well on the admissions exam. I am a little discouraged by the stories of other students however since I’ve been at CSI I’m an A/B student. Looking at transferring out in starting at Union County I heard they help students more & it in not such a tough course. Any advice, study tips, warnings, or just rules of thumb to remember in order to be successful in the program will be greatly appreciated. Good luck on your NCLEX.

- sorry it posted it without me finishing haha. But if you fail the first nursing course you get dropped out the program and have to reapply. And if you fail two nursing courses you can’t reapply anymore. But honestly if you read the textbooks, keep up with classes, study and pay attention i don’t see an issue and failing. Yeah it’s difficult which is why many people usually fail. But just keep up with your stuff. I had difficult times with adjusting with the nursing school but you just have to adjust and get on top of your work to pull through. I’ve personally have been doing well so if we have around the same grades i don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to do the same ! Don’t discourage yourself because what others say. Let it want you to do better than them cause that’s what i try to do!

Let me know if you have any more questions. I don’t mind at all! ?

Hi my grades look similar to yours, can you tell me your overall GPA and BIO 150 grade please?

hi sorry for the super late post. But I believe I got an A- on bio 150 and ended up with a 3.7 GPA for my application to the program
