Hello! I am currently a freshman at Binghamton University planning to transfer (Due to covid and financial reasons) into CSI for next semester for Spring 2021 and I am interested in their nursing program. I was thinking of Hunter or city tech but I heard Hunter is really competitive and city tech has a messy nursing program. So I was wondering how are the professors/ classes at csi? How supportive is the nursing program department?

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.
One is to create a facebook page. This link is allowed to be posted.
The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.
Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.
We wish you success in your Nursing program!
Congrats for getting in!! Just an update, I decided to transfer to CSI this semester due to financial reasons. I hope to get into the nursing program by Spring 2022! This is my first semester at CSI completing my pre reqs. Im planning on taking BIO 106/107, PSY 100, COM 101 and ENG 151. Any tips on getting into the program? Should I join any clubs or get a job to build my resume?

CSI is VERY competitive . I am trying for Spring 2021 too. You need to have a very good GPA and a good score from NLN PAX RN.
If you are looking for Supportive Professors you better go to WAGNER, which again is costly.
Hey, I'm thinking about going to CSI for nursing because I figured it would be less competitive than Hunter and Lehman. Do you know the typical acceptance rate or the number of seats they have available? I know Hunter only accepts 100 seats and there are usually around 1000 applicants.

Hi, CSI has around 80 seats and a lot of applicants too.

They look at your GPA, prerequisites and admission test score, at your science classes. I am not sure how many applicants they have , I am assuming around 800? I never heard of the lottery system. I graduated from CSI yes.
