UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Hello all, I wanted to created this group for those that are applying to the COS nursing program for Spring 2026. I will be applying with about 78 points. Hope for the best for everyone applying! 

Can anyone tell me how they got their AHA CPR certification? When I go on the American Heart Association website I click on the "Find a Training Center" then it only shows courses like ACLS, BLS, PALS and others that are not CPR.

You're going to sign up for BLS, I'm a healthcare worker it's what you need in the hospital.

 Did you apply to ccc.org and email the nursing the department (hospital Rock) with your COS banner ID?

Where can I check if I'm enrolled at COS? I just graduated this May and when I submitted my application I didn't re-enroll (I just used the banner ID I had.) Do you guys know if I'm still considered a student or if I have to re-enroll for Spring 2026?

Same I was curious if I had to re-enroll as well because the last time I took classes there was last  year.

Call cos the guy from Hanford [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] will help you

Then they will make you an appointment when u turn in your paperwork with  the councilor for the nursing program and fix the rest of you study plan

I asked when I turned I. My paperwork. She said if you haven't been enrolled for 2 consecutive semesters

How do we do the background check or where do we go? I called my clinic for the drug test. But they don't do background. Where do I go for that or what do I do?

If I'm correct when we order the package on complio it automatically submits our info for background check right ?

Just making sure, for oct 22:

We need to complete only the background check and drug test and the acceptance letter right? Not the immunizations and the physical form?
