Amanda, thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it! I'm reminding myself I have other opportunities ahead of me. A huge congratulations to you for getting into the program after 4 years, that is dedication, and wishing you the best of luck! My TEAS score was in the high 70s, if I could've scored in the 80s that would've bumped me up 4-5 points. Also, I'm one class away (which I'm taking right now) to earn my associates degree, which also could've helped. Now I know!

You are very young and you have already completed all the requirements to apply so it may not seem like a big deal but in reality you have already accomplished a lot. It took me over 2 years to get my classes completed because I was only able to take one class per semester and there's a lot of competition at my community college to get into the science courses. Try to work on the areas you may be able to improve your points such as your TEAS scores. You are really close to the cut off points for this cohort so if you can score higher on your TEAS start studying now and retake it so you reapply again with more points before the next application deadline. Best of luck !
Thank you for the encouragement Luna, I really appreciate it! You are right, I have many more years to keep applying and trying. Congratulations to you getting into the program, with that hard work and determination taking your science courses, you'll do great in the program! And thank you for the advice.

Congrats to you! Good luck at that other school you chose. Well, that gets me one spot closer. Is anyone else that got accepted going to be declining their seat?

I wouldn’t worry so much. It’s already week 1 of acceptance letters and you are 20% closer to a spot. Last semester at least 7 people did not choose their seat for a leave of absence or they get in to a school closer to them or they get in to the school they wanted. Most people are not on this site, assuming. I don’t know how you will be notified of a seat opening up for you. I am going to assume it will be a phone call. However, your letter says to be aware of all dates and deadlines if you want to keep your seat. Do you have those?

You're right. I think I'm just trying to get answers instead of being patient and letting the process happen. So the letter says to just show up to the orientation and I think whoever shows up is who they consider committed. I'll just have to wait until orientation and see who all shows up I guess. They will be in touch after they get an official count in orientation.

Yes. Patience is key here. I mean I’ve waited 4 years for my letter. I almost ran out of patience. But yes. Just show up and see what happens! ? fingers crossed for the other schools you applied to as well. Good luck to those remaining who don’t know what their response is yet.
Got my manila envelope today:)) So exited to start that adventure with all of you!! Would anyone like to exchange their contacts to keep in touch before classes starts? There's so much stuff to be done before 10/21 I already getting nervous ?But so so happy to be in the program!!
Good luck to all who applied and didn't received their letter yet and those on the waiting list!!
