Hi everyone, for the drug test do we need to pay out of pocket or it's included on the Castle branch payment?

Can anyone recommend where to get titer testing besides at the CSM Wellness center??

You can request it from your primary care physician. Or use ultalabs:

https://www.ultalabtests.com/testing/search?itemName=Titer

With ultalabs, it would be through labcorp or quest diagnostics. 

I paid mine at skyline college health center, they requested it through quest diagnostics and so I had to go to quest and the skyline college released the results to me. It took 8 days to receive the results which I think is longer than through my UCSF's labs.

Did you receive an email yesterday that you moved up on the waitlist? I received my new #. From my experience in the past, in 2021 the waitlist after orientation until the first day of class (the official cut off) the waitlist moved up 12 people. I know because I was #20 and went to #8 and didn't get it.  I'm crossing my fingers but it looks like a lot of people got in after orientation. I hope I see you got accepted after 7/14 when all the castlebranch requirements are due. I went from #20 to #15 after the castle branch stuff was due.

I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) today asking some questions and she said that I moved to #6, I was previously #7. I am crossing my fingers and toes, while trying to not get my hopes up too high, that I get in. I have gone forward with the CastleBranch in anticipation of being accepted.

What number are you this time????

Hi Krissy,

I was #4 and now I'm #3. I too am not getting my hopes up. This isn't my first rodeo with the waitlist at CSM it's so nerve racking but I mean what can we do but sit and wait. I'm hoping that some other community colleges have not released their acceptance letters so that some people at CSM will decline their offer. I'm waiting on one more letter to complete my data sheet to submit and I'm done. If you purchased your castle branch already, I'd log in to LabCorp and set up a drug test ASAP. I signed up for my drug test on 6/20 and just finished it on Monday 6/26. Being #6 sounds promising from what I've gone through.

What other place are you waiting for??? I have my drug test tomorrow and did my titer blood work today! I love the promising thoughts!!

I didn't apply anywhere else. I have to keep it real with myself. I don't wanna go anywhere else and I'd probably be late if I did go anywhere further. I used to apply for Chabot (they haven't had RN programs for the past 2 years), Mission college and Ohlone.

CSM is my alma mater and it's 9 minutes from home. I've accepted that when it's my time at CSM it will happen. All my RN friends attended CSM and it's just my only choice. PLUS IT'd be practically free because I'm a resident of SM county.

Just spoke with (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) I dropped off my Nurse packet, she said all 50 accepted applicants have uploaded into castle branch. It's not looking too good for us waitlisted ☹️?
