College of Nurses of Ontario is failing

Published

BY LAW, all regulatory bodies must PROVIDE a number of things, such as: "...timely decisions, responses and reasons make registration decisions, and provide written reasons for those decisions, within a reasonable time". CNO fails to do this. Nursing professionals (Canadian-born/educated and Internationally-born/educated) in Ontario are waiting a minimum of 1 HOUR to speak with anyone at CNO over the phone; we wait WELL over 1 WEEK and often longer for responses to e-mails, and MONTHS for simple requests to be completed. Other Canadian provinces with larger nurse registrant capacities are able to provide efficient service with reasonable wait times. Meanwhile, CNO continues to increase our registration fees every single year while conditions worsen.

NURSES in Ontario experiencing issues with CNO should contact the Fairness Commissioner (OFC).

Looks like these guys are spending a whole lot of time other side of the Lakes. In Michigan it is how BON run things since Petoskey stones were forming.
