Starting a page for anyone that was accepted for the individualized track for fall 2017!!! :)

Was there a separate website or link to go to for the background screening? When they sent the email it was for the site but it only said urine test on the paperwork.

All both the drug test and the background test it was $220. The Background check, you would answer questions about yourself and then your credit your social security. A couple days later they send you text or an email saying it's complete.

How do you get to the background check part? Do they send it after you do the drug test ? I was never questioned about anything they made me pay for the drug test then after that that was it and they sent me the email to get the urine test

The background check is the first thing that you do once you complete that then give you options of where to take your drug test then you will pay for it. Then once the drug screening results are in, then your background Check is complete.

Right I meant the fingerprints. I got my drug test but I wasn't given the option for fingerprints.

There are no fingerprints required/no option to do fingerprints. You are only required to do the background check then the drug screening ( urine test ).

I am trying to understand why my price was different. Sorry for asking so many questions :(

I'm not quite sure, maybe it's because we are in different states, so the prices may vary.

It's honestly ok, don't apologize. The initial post has helped me so much over the past few weeks. Always better to ask than not know! 🙂

My price was different as well. I did not pay the $220 that a few others paid. However, the steps I followed to do both the background check & drug screening were the same exact steps as another student I know who paid $220.

I have no clue as to why it was different. I just assumed it might due to the location of drug screening test ( the other student I know lives in a different state than I do ) and/or the amount of effort it took to retrieve any information for the background check.

As long as you get your confirmation that your background check is complete (the site we tell you when it's completed) & you received an email giving you instructions on the drug screening (this will be sent to whatever personal email address you have been using you after you select a location to do the drug screening-urine test) I wouldn't worry about the pricing.

I think you may have bypassed something which is the reason why your price was different. When you go to the verifystudents website, on the left side of the screen there's a list of options and one of them is my background and forms, and another option is order new report here. Try playing around on the website and see if your able to order your background check.

They sent me my confirmation today saying it was complete. I guess the prices do vary. Thank you guys so much!
