Hi everyone -
I didn’t find a thread/topic for CMSV’s Summer 2021 ABSN program so I went ahead and made one. I just found out that I was accepted today and will be attending the program at the Riverdale campus. Anyone else attending for the Summer cohort? It seems a lot of people apply for the Fall/Spring semesters, but I want to get started and finish nursing school ASAP. Would love to discuss about the program with others in my cohort.

if this is your only option then go for it. But if you can apply to other places I would advise you do. I just graduated from here and it was complete hell! But tbh most nursing programs are disorganized, however, this one is just awful. Good luck!
Hey! Thanks so much for answering. congrats on graduating! I feel like it's rare to find much feedback from people either in/or have graduated! I'm stressed trying to figure out what to do because going here will allow me to start nursing school sooner than other schools. Did you feel like you actually learned/ready for the NCLEX? Thanks again!!

Thank you!! I am so grateful to be done LOL. And you are welcome! I try my best to help others because others helped me.
but, I learned based on teaching myself tbh when it came to the lessons. Some of the professors are good like maybe 2-3. I'm not sure exactly who left or came back. I know a lot of staff had left. But in any nursing school, you really have to teach yourself and use other tools because it is so fast-paced. The part is some of these professors and faculty do not provide support. But if this is better for you to start sooner go for it! just stay on top of everything, meet a good group of classmates who have goals to succeed like you, stay focused and you will do fine. It will go by fast!
As for the NCLEX I am somewhat prepared because I tried to stay on top of things but the NCLEX I heard is a breeze compared to school. And there are alot of resources after school to use to study for that.
Yeah, I have seen that about a lot of programs that it is just so much information in such a small amount of time! So far, the admissions people for the program ( guess thats what they are LOL) have been so helpful, but I know there are many negative reviews. Would you have chosen to go to a different school looking back?
