College of Mount Saint Vincent ABSN Summer 2021

Hi everyone -

I didn’t find a thread/topic for CMSV’s Summer 2021 ABSN program so I went ahead and made one. I just found out that I was accepted today and will be attending the program at the Riverdale campus. Anyone else attending for the Summer cohort? It seems a lot of people apply for the Fall/Spring semesters, but I want to get started and finish nursing school ASAP. Would love to discuss about the program with others in my cohort.

yes I got that too. but we usually get thag reminder for the virtual info sessions since thats what we signed up for. I spoke to ellen on Friday and she told me she was going to send out a detailed email about what is going to go on Friday but didn't receive anything.

There’s also an attachment to that but for some reason it isn’t showing up on my phone so I have to log in on my laptop to see it. Is this what you’re Talking about?

Its ALOT of work. and the professors are not that helpful. We were literally thrown to the wolfs since day1. But like the professor told us “we chose this evil on us” LOL only week 3 and we’re legit going crazy. don't mean to scare ya just be ready to really not have a life. we were told we have to “eat,drink,breath” nursing for the next 16 months.

are the classes online or in person now?

They’re in person and the campus is beautiful.

sorry for so many questions but would you mind maybe telling me what your schedule is like ? and and when do you start clinicals?

everyones schedule varies. mine is

Monday- Health lab 9-1130

Tues- class from 8-11 / 1130-230

Wed- 830-1030/ 11-1

Fri- clinicals 7-1
