College of Marin (COM) - Fall 2025

Hi I applied to the COM nursing program right when they started accepting applications in November but I think they are still taking apps for the next couple of weeks. Making a discussion to see if theres anyone else out there who is trying to get in? Look forward to hearing from you guys!

Do you think we will hear back by May or June? I feel like I've been waiting for an eternity LOL.

I honestly expect the soonest to be late may...Apparently people hear back in August even but that's obviously people that didn't get in first round.

Hi I am a first year COM nursing student. Last year first round admissions came out late may and then more came out up until August as admits declined spots in the program. Good luck!

Thank you! Did they notify you via email? I moved addresses and I let them know just incase but havent gotten a response. How is the program going? I appreciate any insight! 🙂

They notified us via our College of Marin email addresses if I'm remembering correctly, so make sure you have that up and running. I like the program a lot so far. For us it has typically been 2 days of classes and 2 days of clinical which leaves some time for a part-time job, but you will also want time to study. One thing to keep in mind is that once you get in, your schedules will be released pretty last minute, and may change after being released. That has been hard for students who have less flexible job schedules.

I hope you all get the news you are hoping for. We are looking forward to seeing new faces around!

Hi!  My COM advisor said that acceptances should come out in mid may, but I called the nursing department and [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] said after Memorial Day.  It does feel like a really long wait!

Oh man! Thank you so much for this update! They said end Mid-End of May but good to know a tentative week. The wait peaking my anxietyyyy
