This will be my second time applying, but I have always followed the threads from previous classes. I couldn't believe no one created a thread for the Sept 5 applicants so I'm making one in hopes that we can keep each other posted on the results and important dates/info. Feel free to introduce yourself and lets chat about the journey so far!
Hi Everyone, and congratulations to all that were accepted. I applied for Spring 2019 Part-time and was selected as an alternate. I am so happy and hopefully that I will be joining those who were "accepted". I don't remember my stat score but my GPA was 3.22 having B's in all my prerequisites except one which was an A in Micro Bio. I don't have any certificates or prior degrees either.
Hi Y'all, I was accepted also and want to give everyone a heads-up to check your COM email. There was an important email attachment regarding steps that need to be taken. Two of them have a deadline of today!! You must register and pay for Drug test and Background check. If I hadn't checked my student email I wouldn't have known.
Hi, everyone.
Has anyone signed up to take the CPR class through college of the mainland? It starts October 22.
Also, does anyone know if we were to submit our results from the pre-check or if the results were sent to the Nursing department? I printed them out, just to be on the safe side, but it doesn't have a section in the drop down menu when submitting documents, so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it.
I also hadn't gotten a response from the drug screen company after registering and paying. However, the instructional letter did specify that the drug screen (along with two other documents) weren't due until Jan 4, 2019, so I think that may have something to do with how long its taking them to contact us.

I got accepted on the 6th for the full time ADN program. I got 443 points with only a B in English and all A's for the rest. I also have a CNA certificate. Anyone else received anything other than the fingerprint email sent to us? I already did one for UTMB when I got waitlisted.
