This will be my second time applying, but I have always followed the threads from previous classes. I couldn't believe no one created a thread for the Sept 5 applicants so I'm making one in hopes that we can keep each other posted on the results and important dates/info. Feel free to introduce yourself and lets chat about the journey so far!

I just took Hesi today for lonestar, I had over 90 in all sections except anatomy where I had 68, I'm so sad, I'm looking into college of the mainland, if I don't get into school by January, I think I'll just give up nursing, it's so hard to get in.
COM doesn't require the hesi. I would definitely look into applying there, but you have to hurry. January's class has an app deadline of Sept 5.
Yes I just completed an application on ApplyTexas, do I need to do anything else, I've been searching for ways to send in my transcript. I don't know if I'll meet up, it's all so frustrating.

Hey! I applied for the part time program. Would you mind sharing your stats. I have a 3.61 plus 2As in Anatomy I and II and a B in Micro as well as my Bachelors. I believe that gives me 431 points. I hope I get in. Have you heard how their clinicals work? I've been meaning to call, but haven't. I've been looking for a thread as well, but haven't found any other ones for SP2019. I wonder how many part time students are applying.
I applied as well for the part time program.

Hi everyone. This is my second applying again to this program. I applied the first time with a 416 and was denied, I had no other degrees or certificates. I reapplied with a 432. I have A's in all prerequisites, except Anatomy and Physiology II. I have a few friends in the nursing program now, and the future seems very scary. The program is unorganized and all over the place with poor communication. I guess it's something we will all have to try and figure out if we get in. I was told that we would know whether we got accepted or denied into the program around 4-5 after the DEADLINE. The response turnaround are quick so if anyone wants to apply to the LVN program just in case, this will give them enough time to apply. Application deadline to the LVN program is September 15th. Good luck to everyone, Hope we all get it. I also heard that there were about half as many applicants this time around. I applied for the Full time program.
Great! Thanks for the info. Do you know when clinicals are for the part time students? Are they in the evening? Or during morning time?
I don't know. I know for full time the clinicals for everyone is the same time I think, maybe just on different days.
Check your webadvisor. I got accepted! :))
